"After being a proud owner of the 12/10/32A drive for over a year now I was very anxious to try out their latest IDE drive, the 24/10/40A. With today's current prices, 12x and 16x burners are dirt cheap, with their 24x brethren often carrying a sizeable price premium. Many people might see the 24x rating and think that their older drives are way behind the times. But as we all know, when it comes to CDWR drives an incremental increase in rated speed doesn't necessarily relate to large performance gains."
