The Athlon 1.4C GHz we're reviewing here isn't the run of the mill chip, rather it's the 133/266 version of the processor hence the C in the speed designation. Our processor came with the famous AYHJA stepping which provides promising overclocking potential. From the first looks, the 1.4C AYHJA seemed like it was built for performance, the L1 bridges were joined by default which means that multiplier changes are possible without the need to do the pencil trick. At default, the 1.4GHz clock is achieved with a combination of a 10.5 multiplier with the 133MHz bus but with some tweaking, we're going to try for 1.66GHz, a good 12.5 X 133.
