While upgrading a 486 may be useful it isn't very hardcore. Now. Upgrade a 386-20Mhz, that would be interesting.... H'mm I think I have a test creature downstairs.... I wonder how SoftFSB will run on it.. hehehe."
Like most of you, I have an old and crusty 486 that was just laying
around do nothing. Realizing it was wasting away, I had to decide if I
should strip it down and use if for parts, or try upgrading it for the
CHEAPEST possible price. For me that price would be around 350 bucks. So I did some research to see if I could get this baby flyin' again."
