"The RatPad is one of the largest mouse pads I have seen. While this is a good guarantee that your mouse won't slide off the edge, the new high sensitive mice that most people are using do not require much space at all. My Razer Boomslang can scroll across my 1600x1200 desktop in a matter of a few inches. Older mice require more space which works out great for the RatPad, but I don't think that the space allowed on the RatPad is justified. While the size is great, unfortunately it didn't fit all that well on my desktop."
