Just got a hot press release from the folks at DimensionX about Transcend announcing the new Slot-A Athlon MB - TS-AKXA. Here's a short blurb:
"Sporting a host of high-end features, the TS-AKXA supports 200MHz Front Side Bus. There are 3 slots for PC133 or VCM (Virtual Channel SDRAM) memory modules, up to a total capacity of 1.5GB, and 5x PCI, 1x AGP 4X, and 1x ISA/AMR (shared) slots for expansion. The combination of a built-in AC97 sound chip and AMR expansion gives end-users a cost-effective 3D multimedia facility. Advanced Hardware Monitoring keeps track of the PC's temperature, voltage and fan speed, while Over Voltage Protection and Over Current Protection safeguard the CPU while overclocking. The board also supports the 2 channels Ultra DMA/66 specification HDD up to 4 devices."
