A new overclocking era was born with the introduction of the first Flip Chip processor, the 500E. This bad boy would max out most motherboards in bus speeds before the CPU would fail. It wasn't long before the 500E was referred to as the next Celeron 300A. Then comes the 550E hitting even higher speeds. Next the 600E... We were lucky enough to play with one of these awesome chips too. I like to refer to the 600E as the next Celeron 366 because most 600Es can run flawlessly on the 133MHz bus giving you an awesome 800MHz of raw power!
