"ASUS K7V is one of the best AMD Athlon solutions, based on the VIA Apollo KX133 AGPset this motherboard continues on where the ASUS K7M left off. Unfortunately the K7V does have one short coming, its BIOS overclocking (Jumperfree Mode) does need some working on. When Jumperfree is enabled you can control FSB and the Vcore from within the bios. Very handy if it works. I have been working with the ASUS K7V and no matter what I try I can not get the FSB above 107MHz. Now for a motherboard that comes from a company known for making good overclocking boards this is a disappointment... However when you use the Dip Switches 110MHz FSB works without any hesitation but in bios we see more speed like 120 and 124MHz and well we just got to have them..."
