"more people have *heard* of BeOS. But few of them have actually tried it. Most of these people ask me basic questions like "do you like it" and "what's it like", but none of them have ever said, "maybe I should give BeOS a spin". And what BeOS needs more than anything right now is more people "giving it a spin". You can have all the drivers in the world, and have a million high-quality applications, but if you don't have a user base, there's no point to any of it."
