Tweaked driver for Savage4 - FrostyTech.com Tweaked driver for Savage4
Tue Jul 11, 2000 | 2:41P| PermaLink
RizeNet has posted a new tweaked driver for Savage4 users, with some minor improvements over my last one, and one big one. For those of you who don't know (i.e. most of you) my tweaked drivers combine the latest Savage4 reference drivers with optimized settings. S3 uses registry keys (hidden in the drivers, you can view them with a hex editor) that allow various settings. My drivers manipulate them for maximum speed and image quality. Build 202 Revision 2:
Fixed Windows Install Problem
Integrated Inf
Fixed 3DMark2000 Lockup

Build 202 Revision 1:
Decreased Size; The file is now about 45% smaller
Integrated Windows 95 Install

This driver has all the BIOSes, files and patches to get your Savage4 running
smooth. You can grab the latest version, 2.02 (which is based off of S3
reference 4.12.01.8215-8.20.18) here!
