From the Gang over at Athlon OC come these words. "This is our first review of a micro ATX board Mainly because micro ATX isn'
t exactly targeted at the power users. BUT at times they can be quite nice
and handy. For instance you want to put together a LAN box that is light
weight. You only need your video, your sound and a LAN card. Perfect fit!
Most of them have onboard sound so you might be able to cut a corner if you
want a cheap LAN box. Don't we all want to play games on our big screens?
Hook our computers into our kickin stereos? I'm piecing together a box right
now to put in with my entertainment system. Get a video card with TV-out
hook it up to the TV. Hook it into my big speakers. Hook up the wireless
keyboard and mouse. kick back and frag! Now that is where micro ATX is
handy. Also since the boards are smaller the power required to make your
system stable is lower. (sorry for the unusually long intro)"
