Socket A's cracking

"Judging from these pictures, it seems that people are having problems with Socket A's cracking....But don't take my word for it, it's just speculation. This is a common problem in FCPGA INTEL chips too. AMD does have 4 rubber pads around the edges of the chip to counter such a thing, but it seems as though the rubber pads are not enough.
It seems as if Copper spacers are necessary to ensure an even pressure when fan/heatsinks are applied. "
