"Cool lights and multifunction buttons aren't any good if the mouse sucks
in games, since that is what most of us will want it for anyway. As I
previously mentioned, the optical sensor takes 1500 images of the mousing
surface per second, so it is possible to move the mouse faster than the
sensor can detect, resulting in erratic cursor movement. This said, it
takes a fair amount of effort to move the mouse this fast, most people
won't ever notice. I haven't had the mouse skip on me during any gameplay
so far, no matter how fast I'm moving. Being a USB device, the cursor
movement is very accurate and smooth, making a sniper's life easier when
lining up a critical shot in Unreal Tournament (or whatever game you play). "
