"The World Wide Web Consortium, W3C, is not helping matters either. Please lower your flame throwers and I'll explain. There is a group of very dedicated, selfless, and independent people working to develop a usable standard for HTML. I love them for that. Really. But on more than one occasion they've found themselves being held hostage to HTML "extensions" being forced down their throats by Big Corporate Interests."
