"Abit has been favored by overclockers and power users alike recently for the numerous features they include on their motherboards, more specifically their BIOS support for the software controlled dipswitches that can adjust the CPU multiplier and FSB on the fly. AMD owners had been awaiting the announcement that ABIT would finally create an Athlon board that becomes a leader of the pack. Previous Athlon motherboards released by other manufacturers were a step in the right direction but often power or compatibility issues arose and plagued these early boards.
