"As expected RAID 0 is the performance leader, but RAID 1 loss is not so dramatic. The Synthetic Transfer Rate shows a huge advantage for RAID both in the Beginning and End but this never happen in real world. The expected performance improvement for the user when using RAID 0 is in average below 30%. But it may be bigger when dealing with a lot of small files. In my opinion is very interesting that RAID 1 doesn't drop performance above 15%."
