"When it comes to Motherboards,Transcend is not a new player. But the company name is not as well known as Asus or MicroStar. Transcend Information Inc. was founded in 1988, and focuses on two different components: motherboards and memory. We have reviewed Transcend motherboards before, and been very pleased with the first Transcend motherboard we reviewed in the DW3D lab, the TS-AVE3. Although TS-AV3 wasn't a performance king, the board was very stable. The VIA KX133 based board didn't get here to our lab in time, but since the Socket-A processors from AMD weren't that far from being released, we were more excited to see what Transcend would send us that was KT133 based."
