"Centaur and VIA have been working up a follow up to the Samuel I, this being the Samuel II. The Samuel II offers a .15 process, an improved FPU, and 64k of L2 cache. The mobile Cyrix III, will be based on the "Matthew" core from Centaur. The "Matthew" core is the same as the "Samuel II" with the exception is it is meant to be integrated with the VIA North Bridge, which is ideal for "value" platforms and laptops."
