"I think we have a misunderstanding here. The popular press, pundits, journalists et al, have all come to associate the rise of the Internet with "anarchy", taken to mean "chaos". It was easy to make that assumption if all you saw was the junk dredged up by the average search engine. Let's face it, as we know it today, the Internet appears to be the ideal vision of chaos. There's no apparent structure, no organization, and it's that way on purpose."
