"Many of our readers are familiar with Macpower Peripheral's popular DigitalDoc2, which can monitor temperatures for up to four different devices, depending on the model purchased. It also can be programmed to turn fans on when needed and off when not, a handy feature if you have a PC in your bedroom. The DigitalDoc3 doubles the number of devices and fans that can be monitored: there are four and eight sensor models. It also adds voltage monitoring for the +5 and +12V rails of your power supply and backlighting for the LCD display. Like the DigitalDoc2, it can also function as a drive bay cooler if you opt to put a hard drive behind it. "
