"Being the biggest heatsink that Vantec makes was a score. I always want the biggest and the best, but for $15 you usually can't get much. Vantec was able to deliver on this heatsink, though. For only $15 you get the heatsink, and a pack of thermal compound. Usually only the super-high end (Alpha, Globalwin, etc.) heatsinks come with thermal compound, but Vantec packs it, too. The thermal compound that comes with it is enough to cover ten heatsinks if you wanted to. Remember when applying thermal compound less is more. You want a very thin layer of thermal compound between the CPU and the heatsink."
