AMD: The Athlon 1.1Ghz Thunderbird is new to the list this week, debuting at a price of $715. Every AMD processor dropped in price, with the biggest drops going to the 1Ghz Thunderbird, dropping $328 to $471, and the 1Ghz Athlon, dropping $308 to $479. Major drops here, making the AMD line of processor's even more attractively priced than ever. Intel: "Almost all of the Intel CPU's dropped in price. All of Intel's high end P3's dropped significantly, with the Pentium3 1Ghz seeing a drop of $425, to $729. Most of Intel's other offering dropped in price, yet they are still priced significantly less than their AMD Athlon counterparts. Video cards: New to the list are the GeForce2 MX series of boards, the Voodoo5 PCI, and the Radeon 32MB SDR and DDR boards. Not too many drops here, the biggest drop was for the Rage Fury Maxx, which dropped $17 to $108. The Radeon 32MB SDR seems like a great deal, for only $135 you get one of the most feature complete video cards out their, with outstanding performance.
