"The diapraghm is auctioned by an exciter (electromagnet, electrostatic, piezoelectric) which moves the diapraghm with a force constant with frequency. The moving force is equal with m x a, which means that frequency is constant with acceleration too. So that the displacement reduces with frequency (12db per octave). In low frequencies this is phenomena is not bad, because the wavelength is comparable to diapraghm dimensions. The real part of the diaphragm's radiation resistance, into which the driver dissipates acoustic power, increases with frequency at exactly the same rate as the diaphragm's displacement decreases, the result being that acoustic
power output is constant"
