"nVidia has designed a number of successful chipsets over the last few years. The 'Riva 128' was one of the first cards that I've reviewed here at CPUReview; and nVidia later introduced the 'Riva TNT', 'Riva TNT2', 'Riva TNT2 Ultra', 'TNT2 Vanta/M64', 'GeForce 256', 'GeForce GTS 2' - and very recently - the 'GeForce GTS 2 Ultra and 'GeForce MX'.
One of the unfortunate characteristics of the video card race is that if you want to keep up with the Jonses you will be buying a new video card every four to six months; which can do serious damage to your bank account."
