"As networking continues to grow and become more popular, there is a growing
demand for trained system administrators to set up and manage new networks.
The pay for a system administrator can range from $30K to $100K+ a year,
depending on your experience and knowledge. A good way to show that you know
the theory behind networking is to get certified. Certifications are offered
by a variety of companies like Microsoft, Cisco, Novell, and others. This
article will focus mainly on some of the certifications offered by Microsoft
in the Systems Engineering department, such as Microsoft Certified
Professional (MCP) and Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE)"
