"I went through the Sands Expo Hall today. It was a lot like yesterday, except there were more hardware component companies. Some of the big motherboard guys were there: MSI, Gigabyte, Chaintech, BioStar, etc. There was also a lot of other components: mice, speakers, etc. There was an awful lot of networking stuff and dumb gimmicks, too.
Motherboards....yawn. The motherboard guys had their boards displayed up on the walls. Some of them were equipped and running. Some guys were playing Quake3, others were watching the 3DMArk2000 Demo. But, I wasn't really impressed by anything the motherboard guys were doing. Nothing surprising. The most interesting thing were some of the new developments MSI has done, which I address on a separate page."
