"We all know that when you have little money to buy a motherboard there is nobody cheaper that the kings of "budget" PC WARE. Sadly, people have pinned a bad rep on PC Ware due to some earlier instability problems with the Super Socket 7 platform. Still I can't blame PC Ware's problems entirely on SS7. My first experience with a Alton(PC Ware) motherboard was terrible. I returned it quickly before it could contaminate my other systems! Thank God things have changed. Until recently the only boad I would use in a budget Socket 7 system was by PC Ware. The Socket 7 platform matured and stability problems wer no more. Now just when you start getting things to work without a hitch, BAM, they swtich platforms on you! Introducing Socket-A.. I like socket processor, but the Socket-A platform has a weakness.. There are no Socket-A motherboards with built in video, and you really have to dig hard to find one with built in sound for the same price. PC Ware delivers by giving you almost everything you need on a board."
