FrostyTech.com was created in the summer of 1999 to focus on reviews of cooling related equipment for computers. Given the wide variety of heatsinks, liquid cooling systems, and highly advanced thermal solutions which have since become available to consumers, it's obvious that there will always be a need for objective evaluations.

FrostyTech.com has tested heatsinks from every major heatsink manufacturer and now has one of the largest catalogs of heatsink reviews online. It is our goal to always be objective, and to base our conclusions on the thermal results of a particular product so that consumers can make enlightened choices with their purchases. To accomplish this task we actively design our own proprietory thermal test platforms, and invest in commercially available test meters and equipment.

While many other publications have opted to use real world tests in the evaluation of heatsinks and other computer related cooling systems, FrostyTech believes that synthetic test systems offer the most reproducible test results, and the most accuracy for comparing one heatsink design to another. It's this scientific approach which has earned FrostyTech the respect of its peers, and manufacturers alike, and it is an area we will continue to improve upon.

Ultimately, FrostyTech gives consumers a source of independent evaluation on thermal cooling systems, helping them to make informed purchasing decisions.
