AVC 112AM1 Copper Skive Heatsink Review
AVC 112AM1 Copper Skive Heatsink Review

Abstract: The first thing that we noticed when looking at the 112AM1 is just how thin the base is. At just 3mm thick it is half what most other heatsinks are.

The AVC 112AM1 uses a really small 60mm fan that barely makes any noise at all, or at least that can heard above the ever present whine of a power supply. To listen to this heatsink anyway, click on the pair of headphones .

Remember that is a relatively small heatsink. The AVC 112AM1 is only 60mm square and about half as tall. True it is made from skived copper, but given the competition here you would, or should almost expect it to place a bit lower then it evidently has in these preliminary results. On the other hand, the heatsink doesn't take up that much space and produces little noise so it could be quite a good solution for the correct processor and environment.
