	The Heatsink Fan: The Coolink Silentator heatsink comes with an opaque blue and clear 120mm fan that spins at 900-1600RPM. Fan speed is controlled by a separate PCI bracket controller. There are two rubbery strips along either edge of the fan to minimize potential noise sources, and two spare strips included in the package. The fan is held firmly in place with two springy wire clips that attach to the sides. A wire fan grill is not provided. The fan connects by a standard 3-pin fan power cable.
	Heatsink Exposed: Three pairs of "U" shaped copper heat pipes are set side-by-side at the base, and 59mm apart as they rise up through 42 aluminum fins. A thin rubbery strip runs behind the fan at either side to help prevent vibrations. The tower of aluminum fins takes up an area of 126 x 113mm. Each fin is 0.48mm thick and spaced 2.4mm apart. The 6.7mm thick copper base is shown without any of the processor specific mounting hardware installed. The bulk of the Coolink Silentator heatsink is elevated 35mm above the CPU socket to provide clearance for adjacent motherboard components.
	Heatsink Top: Poking out the top of the Coolink Silentator heatsink are the tips of the three "U" shaped 6mm diameter copper heatpipes. The 42 aluminum fins are nickel plated, 47.5x126mm in size, and soldered to the heatpipes. Tabs at either edge of the cooler allow wire fan clips to lock in place. To help reduce pressure drop through the fins, the leading and trailing edges are notched, and a 5mm plenum created behind the fan motor. Springy wire clips will hold a 120mm fan firmly in place on either, or both sides of the heatsink. Two holes run right through the fins to permit a supplied screwdriver to reach a spring-tensioned mounting hardware.
	Heatsink Side A: Behind the 120mm fan is a tower of nickel plated aluminum fins. The fins are just under half a millimeter thick, and widely spaced. The Coolink Silentator heatsink stands 153mm tall, so check your PC case to see if it has enough clearance - mini tower cases particularly. The copper heat pipes are spread out at the base, but soldered into shallow recesses of the copper base block. It's always a good idea to have the fan blowing towards the rear of the case. The four holes in the copper base are for attaching the different types of CPU mounting brackets.
	Heatsink Base: The useable area of the copper base is 35.5 x 39.5mm, just a bit smaller than AMD Athlon64's 38x38mm integrated heat spreader. The Silentator's base is more than enough to cover an Intel LGA775 chip. The copper surface has been machined perfectly flat in both axis, however surface roughness at or greater than 125 microinches. Coolink have purposefully machined the base to leave small ridges covering the entire surface. The treatment tends to work with highly viscus thermal compound.
