Information on Frostytech's test methodology is available here.
The Heatsink Fan:
When this nine bladed impeller rotating at a full 6000RPM, the Cooljag SFO-H (68YC) puts out about 60 dBA. At its lowest speed, the cooler generates just 43 dBA noise. The fan has a thermistor sensor directly below the motor, and connects to the motherboard via a 3-pin cable that supports RPM monitoring.

Heatsink Top:
The 42 skived copper fins are separated by a 13mm space for the mounting clip. The aluminum support creates a 5mm plenum above the copper fins to promote more even airflow.

Heatsink Side A:
The skived copper fins are each 0.5mm thick and spaced 1.3mm apart. The Cooljag SFO-H (68YC)'s copper base measures a hefty 5.5mm thick.

Heatsink Side B:
The clip mechanism latches onto the retention frame before being screwed into place. From this side, the milled exhaust ports on one side of the heatsink are visible. The down side to this is that the skived fins above only connect with 5mm worth of copper along the inner edge.

Heatsink Base:
The 75x68mm copper base has a sanded finish which translates into a surface roughness of less than ~32 microinches. The heatsink base is very flat. Note the four 17x18mm milled exhaust ports in the base.
