Abstract: Each component in the ZM80A-HP package is well finished, and the instructions (which are a must read) are clear, concise, and illustrated very well.

The final step involves adding in the screws and tightening both sides down good. Since we had to loosen up the front side first before installing the rear plate we have to go back and re-tighten those screws as well.

Using the screws and screwdriver that Zalman pack into the kit the next step is to tighten up all the screws that hold the front-side heatsink in place. And Voila! The Zalman ZM80A-HP is installed on a Radeon 9700 Pro videocard. A couple other things worth noting about this silent heatpipe cooling system; it should only be used in systems where it is located below, or adjacent to the processor socket. The hot side (where the GPU is) must be on the bottom for the system to operate properly, or the video card standing vertically. If for example, the computer was upside down, the ZM80A-HP would not be able to function properly.

Above all - check out the instructions that come with the unit - they are pretty well written and since there are so many things to consider when installing this type of cooling system a few minutes reading over the instructions won't hurt.
