High pitched and noisy are not going to get this heatsink and good marks in the loudness department, but then again it is cooling we are after not low noise! In that respect it seems like the Sibak is well endowed. Sound Level Measurements:

Listening to the actual noise a heatsink makes allows you to hear what pure numbers alone cannot get across. To further emphasize FrostyTech's reliance on cold hard facts when evaluating a heatsink, we also take Decibel readings with a sound level meter. These results may be higher than the manufacturer's listed specs, but then again these are real world measurements.

This is not a very quiet heatsink so I hope the performance is more than just on par. There is something about big noisy heatsinks that is okay as long as they offer superb cooling and performance.
