Vantec FCE-62540D Heatsink Review

When we first got this cooler we were a little taken back by the sheer size of it... When we plugged it in we knew by the sound of the fan, that the FCE-62540D meant business. The company who makes this deadly looking heatsink, Vantec, have been around for some time.

We haven't seen to much of them around here, in fact the last Vantec I saw was a slot 1! Designed for the PIII and T-Bird processors, we set about testing this heatsink against the cream of the crop, and let me say, even Thermaltake had a hard time competing with this little powerhouse....

Designed for:

Intel PIII FC-PGA chips
AMD Duron / T-Bird Socket A processors.
Also works with Celeron PGA and AMD k6-2 chips.

The Vantec FCE-62540D

  • Delta 60x60x25mm fan
  • 12V, 0.48A, RPM monitor
  • HS Dimensions: 80x61x70mm
  • Comes with AK-100 thermal compound
  • Pass-thru cable supplied
  • Made by: Vantec
