Jetart JAKS29 Copper Heatsink Review
The
Jetart JAKS29 is a pretty compact little bundle of noise. That
distinctive whine comes from the 5000RPM YS Tech fan that is mounted behind
a protective wire grille, and you can almost tell that this cooler was built
with overclockers in mind. The actual heatsink is comprised of 45 thin
copper fins mounted to a 4.5mm thick copper base. As if that weren't
sufficient enough, after soldering the fins to the copper base the entire copper fin assembly has then been plated in
copper! The result is a very shiny heatsink which should remain protected from
oxidation longer than the bare copper equivalent.
Jetart
JAKS29 socket A heatsink is rated for AthlonXP 3000+ processors and higher by
the manufacturer, but before you take their word for it, lets test this little
bundle of fire out and see four ourselves first hand!

The
JAKS29 is vaguely familiar of recent Vantec heatsinks with its copper
coloured fan shroud made from anodized aluminum.
This is technique
that many heatsink manufacturers have adopted since it makes the heatsink look more appealing
to consumers. Now, on with the review!
